Prodigy

Delphine Moreau is a young Canadian virtuoso concert pianist with the musical world at her feet, but Elaine, her stepsister agent, is finding her increasingly temperamental and difficult to handle.

Delphine's father, Larry is up to something as he tries to salvage his failing business, and why is Alex Forsyth working as a concert piano tuner when he is such an outstanding pianist?

During a period of some weeks, the relationships of these four characters interconnect in a volatile mix of human strengths and weaknesses, against the backdrop of the Edinburgh Festival, the London Proms and the cosmopolitan city of Toronto.

Prodigy is available as a Microsoft Word Document, formatted as A5 paper and is 293 pages long.

The Eternal Toddler

This is the fictionalised true story of a woman whose life is turned upside down following the birth of her severely mentally handicapped first son. All the events described really happened, and the chronology is accurate.

The rehabilitation of her disabled son, the early death of her husband and the behavioural problems of her second son are confronted with typical fortitude, resourcefulness and resolve.

Although the story is one of family struggle over many years, it is not without its lighter moments.

The names of those involved have been changed to protect their privacy, as have their nationalities and the locations where the story takes place.
